Our whole school focus this term in UICT is Digital Storytelling: Film and Animation. This term, our pupils have the opportunity to explore creative ways of telling stories through digital media. As part of their film task our P1s received invaluable support from our Digital Leaders. They played an essential role in guiding the P1s through a practical task that involved discovering special items placed around the school. With guidance from the digital leaders P1s were tasked with finding and capturing photographs of these objects. They really engaged in discussions about the importance of clarity in their images, ensuring that each photo was well-focused and showcased the entire object. These are all important elements of Film and Animation. The boys and girls will now arrange and order their photographs using the Just2easy app. We can't wait to see the final stories unfold! We have some very talent photographers in primary one. It’s wonderful to see our Digital Leaders providing excellent support to our younger pupils, fostering collaboration and creativity within our school community.
