On Friday 26th September, P5 celebrated European Day of Languages with a special focus on France. Throughout the day, pupils immersed themselves in French language and culture through a variety of fun activities.
We began by learning to count to ten in French and practiced simple conversations with our classmates. Pupils confidently asked and answered questions such as “What is your name?”, “How old are you?”, and “Where do you live?”—all in French!
We also enjoyed learning a French song and had the exciting opportunity to sample French cuisine, including Brie cheese. To round off the day, pupils created beautiful silhouette art.
