Our P4 pupils have been learning how to write clear and detailed explanations — and why it’s so important to set out each step in the correct order! To make it fun, we explored “How to Make a Jam Sandwich.” The children gave Mrs McIlwrath their explanations, but let’s just say not every step was explained clearly or in enough detail! There were a few giggles (and a few sticky surprises!) as we quickly realised how tricky it can be to explain a process properly. A brilliant, messy, and memorable way to learn about sequencing and explanation writing! 🍞🍓✏️
