The Eco Council and P5 recently enjoyed their final Growing Club session with Mrs Bloom. During the session, the pupils had the opportunity to taste a variety of vegetables similar to those growing in our vegetable patch. We sampled potato and leek soup, which was enjoyed by almost everyone, along with peppers, radishes, beetroot and sugar snap peas. We even got to try some delicious pea dip!
We are now very excited to harvest some of our own vegetables. A big thank you to Mrs Bloom and MEA East Antrim Borough Council for providing such fun and engaging Growing Club sessions, we have had a wonderful time!
