We had a fantastic and fun‑filled fundraising No Pens Day, packed with interactive learning experiences. With no writing involved, pupils took part in a range of literacy activities focused on talking and listening, using their thinking skills to work creatively and collaboratively.
In numeracy, pupils consolidated their understanding of decimals through problem‑solving games and practical challenges. Everyone also enjoyed an energetic PE session, with some pupils confidently leading the activities.
We even managed to dodge the rain during an exciting Easter egg hunt before finishing the day with some Lego challenges and ICT activities. It was a wonderful day of active, engaging learning enjoyed by all.
