Primary 5 enjoyed a fantastic visit to the local fire station, where they took part in an important safety talk. Pupils learned about potential hazards in the home and discussed practical ways to make their living spaces safer for everyone.
The class were then given a guided tour of a fire engine and had the opportunity to explore the equipment stored inside. A highlight of the visit was getting to try on some of the firefighters’ protective uniform, an experience they won’t soon forget!
We would like to extend a big thank you to the firefighters for welcoming us and providing such an engaging and educational experience. The pupils had a wonderful time and gained valuable knowledge to take home and share.
