The children took their phonics learning outdoors to consolidate their understanding of ei and eigh words through a range of fun, active activities. Outdoors, the children enjoyed practising and reinforcing their spelling patterns through energetic games and teamwork. Back in the classroom, the excitement continued with a fun bean bag challenge where the children had to read, recognise and match words correctly. The combination of active learning, collaboration and hands-on activities helped to make our phonics work engaging, memorable and full of enthusiasm!
