The boys and girls in Primary One have been learning about the vibrant festival of light, Diwali. They have been busy learning about the traditions that come along with this celebration such as lighting lamps, spending time with family, lighting fireworks and creating Rangoli patterns. They listened to the story of Rama and Sita, all about kindness. They put their crafty hats on and made their very own diva lamps and colourful fireworks pictures using paint and glitter. They have also been busy creating some beautiful Rangoli patterns using chalk. It has been a week filled with creativity, learning, and lots of fun! What an amazing way to celebrate Diwali.
