In Numeracy, we have been using different tools and methods for measuring lengths. We estimated and measured classroom objects in metres and centimetres using rulers and metre sticks, measured longer distances using trundle wheels and found the length of curved lines using string and rulers. We also converted between different units of length, solved length word problems and compared units of length.
